Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Spread the asparagus out on the lined baking sheet in an even layer and drizzle lightly with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper
  3. Roast for 10-12 minutes or until the asparagus is tender. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool
  4. Meanwhile, unroll the puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface and roll out gently with a rolling pin. Transfer to parchment lined baking tray and prick all over with a fork
  5. Brush the egg wash all over the puff pastry. Bake for 10 minutes until light golden brown
  6. Meanwhile mix together cream cheese, goat cheese, garlic powder, and lemon zest
  7. Spread goat cheese mixture over the baked pastry, leaving an inch of border around the edges. Arrange the roasted asparagus in a single layer and season with salt and pepper
  8. Return the baking sheet to the oven to bake for 8-10 minutes until golden and puffed around the edges. Slice and serve warm. Feel free to garnish with shredded parmesan
